Welcome to Heritage In Training, Inc.

Life experience and current statistics show that many youth in economically disadvantaged and single parent homes often lack full support in many social areas.  These lacking areas are necessary to be successful in school and develop effective cognitive skills that will be especially useful later on in life.  Many students become "at-risk" youths, as a result, by dropping out of school, getting involved in risky behavior, questionable activities and making poor decisions.  These troubled youth are then faced with dealing with the consequences of their actions when it could have all been avoided with attention and care.  HIT wants to change the statistics and show that regardless of the situations our youth face, they can be world changers and history makers.  Many future leaders, inventors, engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and more need just a few extra drops of encouragement and direction to help them bloom into their full potential.  



Heritage in Training, Inc. is making a "Proud and Positive" difference by providing the attention, guidance and care our youth, family and friends crave and need.  Being 'there' when nobody else is... is what we are all about! Our main focus is on youth ages 12-21. 


We will be:

·      Providing healthy mentoring relationships
·      Inspiring and restoring hope
·      Imparting knowledge and life skills
·      Presenting strategies for life challenges and opportunities
·      Stimulating personal self-esteem and confidence
·      Demonstrate that we support and care about them as individuals and their future

We are a committed staff and group of volunteers ready to make a "Proud and Positive" difference in our youth (and willing parents too!) in California and Central Maryland.  We are ready to make a HIT in their future, are you?
