About Us

Heritage In Training, Inc. (referred to as HIT hereafter) is a non-profit Christian community based organization dedicated to mentoring, training and guiding the youth of the future down a path that will socially fortify them in a positive manner, while stimulating and building them intellectually. We daily acknowledge and demonstrate the present urgency for change now. Our main focus is on youth ages 13-21.
 
We are utilizing the present to prepare for our youth for tomorrow, including the following critical years of their development.  This is especially true as it relates to the training and experiences that each child faces, such as challenges in school (i.e. peer pressure), conflicts at home and in our communities, etc.  Heritage in Training, Inc. believes that the solution begins early with building and maintaining a solid foundation in a challenging society. We also acknowledge that with God, all things are possible and we honor God in all that we do. 

We aim to provide:

·      Valuable knowledge and life skills
·      Strategies to tackle life challenges     
·      Improved personal self-esteem and confidence
·      Support and care for each their futures
