Programs

It is the core goal of HIT to teach, mentor and provide solid principles on which our youth can build their futures and talents.  This will be achieved through various constructive yet fun activities, functions, exercises, challenges, and training modules that focus on, but are not limited to:

·      Basic etiquette training
·      Public speaking classes
·      Individual and group tutoring

·      Individual and group counseling
·      Learning teamwork
·      Learning sportsmanship
·      Learning computer skills
·      Instilling discipline and patience
·      Instilling respect for adults and elders
·      Learning the values of volunteering
·      Learning to utilize energy positively
·      Development of personal skills
·      Enforcing creative thinking
·      Occupational preparation
·      Emphasis on improving health, nutrition & hygiene
·      And many other skills often taken for granted

Aside from knowing that the time you contributed made a difference, there are countless values that come from being a Heritage In Training, Inc. mentor or volunteer!  We can not place a price tag on the end results because the difference you make is priceless!
